当学会は公益財団法人として、評議員会、理事会、活動の主体となる専門部会によって構成されています。専門部会では、それぞれの目的事業を推進する６部会（ ①研究調査部会②シンポジウム部会 ③広報出版部会 ④褒賞助成部会⑤IATSSフォーラム部会 ⑥国際交流部会）があり、それらの活動の連絡調整を主機能とする企画調整委員会を設けています。会員は専門部会に所属し、研究調査活動のほか、諸事業を直接推進することに加え、各部会内に設置される委員会に委員として参画して活動することを基本としています。
<The Composition of IATSS>
The IATSS is composed of councilors, directors,and departments that lead the Association's activities. Specifically there are the following six departments: (1) Research Department,(2) Symposium Department, (3) Publicity and Publication Department, (4) Awards and Grants Department, (5) IATSS Forum Department and (6) International Exchange Department. The activities of these departments are coordinated by the Planning and Coordination Committee.
Members of the Association belong to these departments to conduct research activities and promote various projects. In principle, they also participate in the committees established within the departments.
