Since its establishment in 1974, IATSS has been actively engaged in a variety of activities as an international and interdisciplinary research institute for traffic safety. In September 2024, IATSS will celebrate its 50th anniversary, and will hold a ceremony to commemorate the founding of IATSS.

Under the four pillars of "Retrospect," "Appreciation," "Praise," and "Prospect," this ceremony will be an opportunity to reflect on the past 50 years of activities, to share the achievements of the Society's activities, and to communicate the future of the Society's activities. We would also like to express our gratitude to all those who have supported the development of the Society, and to recognize the achievements of those who have contributed to traffic safety.
We are also planning a panel discussion with members of the Society after lectures by prominent speakers related to traffic and its safety.
