The Acting Director General of the IRF (International Road Federation), Mr. Gonzalo Alcaraz, visited Japan and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the President of IATSS (International Association of Traffic and Safety Sciences), Mr. Takeuchi, at the IATSS office.

This MoU aims to strengthen mutual cooperation to globally promote safer, more effective, and more sustainable road and transport systems.

The signing provided an opportunity for an exchange of information and opinions, which also included Mr. Kitamura, Chairman of the International Co-Creation Committee.

It was confirmed that both parties will explore collaborations going forward, such as:

• Establishing links on their respective websites.
• Cooperating on information dissemination through newsletters and other platforms.
• Considering the joint hosting of conferences, workshops, webinars, projects, and other events.
