Legal, administrative and social problems regarding implementation of level 4 technique for automated driving on the public road from the international viewpoint.

The Symposium will address key issues that must be resolved before Level 4 automated vehicles can be widely integrated into society. Specifically, the topics of discussion will include:
  •The criminal liability of car manufacturers (entities or legal persons), 
  •The liability of programmers of automated driving systems, and 
  •A broad framework for addressing trolley problem scenarios that may arise during the operation of automated vehicles.
